The source of my pain was not my broken neck which had already started to heal. The pain came from the tiny fragment of excessively fried pork deep inside my lower abdomen. It writhed in frustration at having been mistakenly imprisoned in my body that it now made immortal. Barron sometimes becomes frustrated with me.
